Vic is a co-founder of Starboard Ventures.  With an in-depth background in sales and marketing, and broad exposure to international operations, logistics and support, Vic has repeatedly led successful efforts to create and implement joint development, sales and marketing alliances.  Currently Vic is leading the efforts to set up sales and marketing operations for Sparsix Corporation, a US-Russia technology firm co-founded by Starboard Ventures.

Prior to Starboard Ventures, Vic served as Senior VP of Business Development for an Israeli-based startup in the emerging field of personal robotics.  As a member of the US launch team and the company’s executive committee, he had total responsibility in North America for retail channel development, sales, marketing and strategic alliances with key co-development partners.

Previously, Vic spent 15 years with Hewlett-Packard Company in a wide range of global program and alliance management roles.  As a Global Program Manager, he was responsible for establishing a program with HP’s first Global Systems Integrator which generated over $200 million in commercial PC sales during its initial year of existence.  As a Global Alliance Manager, he directed HP’s strategic support initiatives with Microsoft Corporation.  Prior to these positions he held a variety of positions in HP’s product marketing and enterprise systems sales groups.

Vic holds a Master of International Business degree from Pepperdine University and the European Business School in Östrich-Winkel, Germany, where he graduated at the top of his class.  He also graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Daniel Considine

Daniel is a co-founder of Starboard Ventures and has extensive experience in building businesses and new markets, both in the United States and overseas.  Prior to joining Starboard Ventures, he was CEO of a start-up media company in Silicon Valley.  As CEO he raised $10 million in private equity and debt financing, successfully modified the company’s business strategies and grew the company into the country’s seventh-largest regional magazine.

Previously Daniel established the European and Middle Eastern operations for a medical image archiving company.  Upon joining the company he started to identify and sign distributors, and in less than nine months turned the company’s investment in Europe into a profit-generating operation.  Within two years after joining the company Daniel expanded distribution to include 15 distributors covering 20 countries and established the company’s European technical support.

Daniel’s foundation in international business was built out at Leo Burnett Advertising.  Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Daniel was instrumental in establishing joint ventures in Central European, Eastern European and Central Asian markets to facilitate servicing multinational clients.  He transitioned these agencies' business practices to meet the expectations of American and Western European business practices.  He also advised national governments on advertising law and industry self-regulatory bodies and ultimately set up self-regulatory bodies in three countries.

Daniel received his Master of International Business degree from Pepperdine University and the European Business School in Östrich-Winkel, Germany.  He received a B.S. in Chemistry from St. Olaf College in Minnesota.

Stewart Guenther

Stewart is a co-founder of Starboard Ventures, and the co-founder of the Venture Capital ~ Angel Roundtable.  He has participated in the capital raise of a boutique venture firm targeting the vital homeland security and homeland defense market, and before becoming active in the venture industry held senior product, marketing, and business development roles in consumer and entertainment software, e-commerce, embedded systems and semiconductor capital equipment companies.

Stewart brings over 16 years of international experience working firms ranging from multi-billion dollar corporations to start-up companies.  During this time, Stewart successfully promoted products, services and technologies globally from concept through maturity.

A serial entrepreneur by nature, Stewart continues to form microbusinesses, leveraging e-commerce to target unique niche markets.  Stewart is also consultant to select start-ups on business planning, international expansion and capital sourcing.

Stewart received his Master of International Business degree from Pepperdine University and the European Business School in Östrich-Winkel, Germany.  He received a B.S. in International Business from San Jose State University.
